When I was 15 and my heart got broken, I climbed onto my Dad's lap and cried on his shoulder while he rubbed my back and offered to kill my ex-boyfriend. Even though I was way too big to be sitting in his lap, I'll never be too big for him to tell me everything's OK.
Thanks to my Dad, and all the other Dads out there whose love is unchanged, even as their kids grow up.
