Hey y'all! At some point, I'm going to tell you about all the fun things going on with my body over the past couple of months (yippee!), but that one really requires photos, and so I've been putting it off because I don't deal well with frustration, and I'm concerned that trying to figure out photos + text is going to lead to frustration. And then I may never use blogger again.
Side story!:
Last November, Lee and I got to talking about how much we both liked this one computer game (Warcraft, if you must know. NOT World of Warcraft, just the regular, all-by-yourself kind of Warcraft. Specifically Warcraft III.) I told him I hadn't played it since I was a kid, and I'd like to again, but I couldn't find my dad's copy. Lee loaned me his copy, and while I was at the beach with his family, I fired it up and played. I got through about 3 levels (missions? quests? assignments?) before I hit one that I was having difficulty with. And THEN for some reason the damn thing froze. I started it up again, started my adventure again, and it froze AGAIN. At that point, I restarted my computer and firmly resolved NEVER TO PLAY THAT DAMN FREEZING-UP GAME AGAIN. See what I mean? Patience: not my strongest quality.
Anyway, what I'm saying is, I know I haven't offered you anything super-interesting in a couple of days, but just chill out, I'm getting to it. In the meantime, let me give you some other things that I enjoy reading. Here's the rotation I generally go through when I'm getting my online reading on:
1) dooce
2) fussy
3) finslippy
4) Fluid Pudding
5) Her Bad Mother
6) Black Hockey Jesus (recently added to the usual list, and a guy!)
7) amalah (from there, I follow her links to mamapop and her pregnancy calendar)
There. Now if you ever get bored (assuming you have similar tastes to mine), you'll have something to keep you entertained.
Confidential warning to Christa (who last I heard, was not a big fan of children): pretty much all of these people are "parent bloggers," who talk about their kids and stuff, so, you know, beware! I have no idea how I ended up getting sucked into all these websites run by grown-ups, my only excuse is that all these people are really entertaining.

That's a solid list, most of which I already read, so I'll make up for those by reading through your old posts.
Yeah, I know that as far as the blogging world goes - especially the corner of it that's populated by parents - none of these blogs are very far off the beaten track. But hey, if there are people out there that haven't heard of them yet, I'm here to spread the word!
Plus, I figure linking to people that actually know what they're doing is a great way to distract people on the days when my corner is a little lackluster. ;)
