Here lately I've been paying a lot of attention to all the couples around me. I've also probably been reading a little too much of this website. And, as luck would have it, I'm currently channel-surfing and I seem to have stumbled upon the season premiere of Bridezillas. In response to all this input, I've been putting together a mental list of things I hope I never do when I'm married (or really, in the context of any relationship). Here's what we've got so far:
Things I Hope Never to Do
1) Refer to my spouse as "hubs," "hubby," "hubster," or any variation thereof
2) Refer to myself as "wifey"
3) Write weird blog posts/facebook statuses/text messages/whatever listing all of the housework and cooking I've done that day and what an awesome wife that makes me
4) Have a joint facebook account with my significant other
5) Refer to my significant other by a cutesy pet name in public (in private, however, I'll call Widdle Pookie Honey Lovebuns whatever I like)
6) Call my significant other and harass him a million times a day
7) Forget the importance of occasionally leaving my significant other at home while I socialize on my own
8) (And I hope I don't forget that he'll probably want to do the same sometimes)
Of course, this is all just about my personal preferences. If you do any of those things, I still love you anyway. And if you'd like to submit your own list of things you'll never do, feel free!
